With a driving vision to expand wire wrapping techniques, style and flow Anton Bodor has been harvesting his ideas
since the new millennium. A self taught wire artist who
has pushed the complexity and detail of wire work jewelry
into a new era. Using .999 fine Silver, and only wire
cutters and pliers Anton transforms 20 feet of 30 gauge
wire and various sized base wires into fine handcrafted
jewelry. After spending much time working with fine gems
and minerals Anton wanted to expand his art form and
combine glass with his wire work. The search began for
finding a glass blower in which shared similar creative
energy and inspiration and with the willingness to take on
an apprentice. After several years of disappointment in
finding his ideal apprentice, Anton decided that a move
out of his native Las Vegas (NV) was necessary. After
consideration Anton felt that the Land of Enchantment was
going to provide his artistic inspiration and future.
Within the first week of arriving in Southwest New Mexico
his vision proved to be correct. Attending a local Arts
and Craft show he became acquainted with Daniel Trilli, a
local glassblower. Their creative similarities and goals
were apparent from the get-go. Today Anton and Daniel
have become apprentices of each others art form,
constantly pushing each other to new levels of creativity
and design.
